Extra-Curricular Activities

Poetry symposium, essay writing, debate competition, spell-bee contest, vocabulary bingo, quiz contest, Math-Science-Art exhibition, music and dance competition are organized on and offstage of the school time and again. Students are highly encouraged to take part in different games and sports. Educational trip and excursion, various clubs, inter-house competitions, Yoga, Win camp and Transcendental meditation programs are actively and effectively organized to transcendent to the students towards physical, mental and emotional development from their monotonous and humdrum daily activities.

Bijeshworians have a vibrant student life. Varied co-curricular and extra-curricular activities energize and inspire them to stay ahead and do even better. The unprecedented success of Mahavidyalaya especially in the development of women Taekwondo in Nepal itself is a bedrock performance. No wonder that we have produced many champions who have explored their talent not only in national boundary even in the international arena too. A number of mega events in which the Mahavidyalaya has pondered her spellbound, majestic charm, fascinating to everybody in the short span of time are as follows:

  • The 4th Korean Ambassador’s National Taekwondo Championship organized by Nepal Taekwondo Association and Korean Embassy, this Mahavidyalaya had secured team second senior and junior position along with the best fighter award; too, itself glorifies the name and fame of the Mahavidyalaya. In this competition, eighty-two teams including Nepal Army, Police and Armed-police had also taken part with well known national and international players.
  • To take part in First Youth Olympic Games in 2010, one of the players from this Mahavidyalaya was selected after competing in National level selection got chance for one month’s training in Inchon city of South Korea.
  • The another Bijeshworian had got an opportunity to represent Nepal under the weight category 46 kg on 4-8 April,2012 in Egypt on the occasion of Ninth WTF World Junior Taekwondo Championship.
  • Peace Corps Training programme is undergone time and again in the guidance of Korean trainers to sharpen skills and strategies to the Taekwondo beginners and graduates.
